Rorogwela is a lullaby sung by Afunakwa and recorded by ethnomusicologist Hugo Zemp in the Solomon Islands in 1971. I love the gentle purity of the melody, combined with the ambient crickets and birds.

Nikolas use of textural cross processing & composition is so powerful and evocative - I always feel there is a beautiful but unknown back story to every one of his photos.
